This series titled Stripped uses the human body as a sculptural and performance material. Stripping the people used in the series of all personal traits is the main focus of these photographs. By connecting a song to each shoot in the series, a color palette, mood, and shooting style is depicted based on the musical interpretation from not only the models but photographer as well. The relationship is tested between the models themselves as well as the photographer from the uncomfortable poses being shown. The photos are meant to evoke a sense of discomfort as there is something a little off in each photograph. Whether that be the color, use of space and perception or the poses themselves, you are allowed to feel uneasy. You are not meant to create a connection with the model as they don’t want you to feel so in these photos. They are stripped away.
